Non-Stop Fun in Singapore

The family went to Singapore for 5 nights/4 days during the girls' Chinese New Year school break.  Patrick has been there for work but never for fun.  For such a small island (274 sq mi), it sure has a lot to do for the kiddie-winks.

Day One - A morning wander around Orchard Road, an afternoon at the water park...
Wild Wild Wet on a rainy day
Best Zoo EVER!!!

Day Two -

Singapore Zoo and Night Safari (very LONG day!)

Feeding and Petting the Kangaroos
Stuffed Animals Chosen by the Girls - Red Panda for Fiona and White Tiger for Isla

Day Three - Universal Studios Singapore
Ancient Egypt - best ride I've ever been on - Revenge of the Mummy

Isla jumped to the front of the line to cuddle King Julian

We love the Penguins!

You can see Madagascar and Far, Far and Away behind us.
I love the video above b/c Isla is getting angry with the automatic car.  Gotta love her hands on her hip as she screams at the car.  She still believes she drove us around the track and got us thru the snakes, scarabs, etc. safely.  :-D

Isla pushed me out of this pic - she wanted Po all to herself...BIG Hug!!

Day Four (final day) - Went to Sentosa Island and rode the luge, zip line and played a virtual cowboy game
Desperados - laser shooter game (the horses moved)

The four of us ziplined to the beach - Super Fun!!
So in summary, we had a great time but Patrick & I were exhausted after going, going, going for 4 days.  We came back to Beijing in the middle of Chinese New Year.  My next post will be about the CRAZINESS of the Chinese during Spring Festival.
